Vanessa is a dance artist, Yoga, Barre and Contemporary dance and Ballet teacher based in London. She completed a 200hrs TTC in Ashtanga & Vinyasa at Sampoorna Yoga, Goa under the guidance of Sudhir Rishi, 35hrs Restorative Yoga with Adelene Cheong, 25hrs Yin Yoga with The Yoga People, 50hrs Rocket Yoga with Katarina Rayburn and Helen Russell-Clark at Kindred Yoga, 50hrs Pregnancy Yoga as well as Posnatal and Mum & Baby with Tara Lee and Clare Daniell. Vanessa is interested in developing safe and healthy working environments. Care, physical and mental well-being appear as life ethea which ought to be cultivated. Vanessa‘s classes are a powerful and challenging moving meditation. They draw from anatomical principals with a strong emphasis on the breath. Vanessa has created an accessible practice which develops a grounding feeling through the use of yoga postures and functional, safe alignment. Her barre classes are energising and upbeat. Expect to work hard and have fun!

I am available for 121, pairs or small group private, as well as corporate yoga sessions.

Whether you are new to yoga, have practiced for a while and wish to get on top of inversions or more advanced postures, or whether you are recently returning to practice (post-injury, postpartum), I’ll be able to give you personalised support to build on areas that need extra attention. I’ll provide tailored sequences to help you build strength in a playful and mindful way. If you wish to tap into further supporting your nervous system health, to reduce stress and anxiety, I’ll be here to guide you through meditation and coherent/mindful breathing exercises.
